Poisonous noodles
Poisonous noodles
The case of poisonous instant noodles in Sumatra, which claimed five lives, proves that protection for consumers is weak. The incident took place in April, but there has been no serious handling of the matter since then. The society, however, has been warned not to eat instant noodles for the time being.
That is why, perhaps, the Sriwijaya Military Commander suggested that, pending investigation of the poison, the products suspected of containing poison be withdrawn from the market.
This action would be good because we cannot wait until more people become victims.
It is high time the government take necessary measures by setting up a fact-finding team to investigate the source of the deadly poison.
