PNM Spreads Gratitude by Distributing Sacrificial Animals to Local Communities
Idul Adha provides an opportunity to reflect on gratitude, sincerity, and compassion towards others. Through the ritual of sacrifice, the spirit of sharing is not only an act of devotion but also a reminder that blessings received can benefit the surrounding community.
This spirit is embodied by PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) through its ‘PNM Bersyukur dan Berkurban’ initiative. This year, 18 PNM branches simultaneously distributed and slaughtered sacrificial cows, with the meat delivered to village residents in the areas surrounding PNM’s service zones.
The initiative forms part of the company’s efforts to maintain close ties with communities, extending beyond financial support and business guidance to direct social care that benefits residents.
At the central office, PNM slaughtered two cows for 500 beneficiaries near PNM Tower. Recipients included local residents, UMKM entrepreneurs, and individuals working around the tower. The distribution serves as a gesture of gratitude for the continued trust and partnership with the community.
The ‘PNM Bersyukur dan Berkurban’ initiative also aligns with PNM’s 27th anniversary theme, ‘Together at Every Step, Supporting Every Struggle.’ The company aims to underscore that its presence extends beyond financing and business support to social compassion that touches community life.
Through this initiative, PNM embodies the spirit of Idul Adha as a platform for mutual sharing, protection, and strengthening ties with the local community. For PNM, the company’s presence is not only measured by services to clients but also by how benefits reach closer to communities in its operational areas.
Sule, a ketoprak vendor who sells in front of PNM Tower daily, was among the beneficiaries. He expressed gratitude for the received sacrificial meat. ‘Thank you to PNM for the sacrificial meat. May this goodness bring blessings to PNM and all involved,’ he said.
Similar appreciation was expressed by Suryadi, Head of Petungsinarang Village in PNM’s Wonogiri branch. He stated that the sacrificial cow assistance not only helps meet food needs during Idul Adha but also serves as direct community care. ‘We, the residents of Dusun Weruteklok, Petungsinarang Village, extend our deepest thanks to PNM for the Idul Adha sacrificial cow assistance. May this act of worship bring blessings, benefit others, and be rewarded with abundance of prosperity, health, and divine grace,’ he said.
PNM remains committed to fulfilling its financing and empowerment role, focusing not only on economic aspects but also social and humanitarian values. Through Idul Adha, PNM hopes the spirit of sharing will grow into a culture of care that benefits wider society.
