PNM sharpens employee resilience through 2026 PORSENI Grand Final
On Saturday, 22 August 2026 at BRILiaN Stadium, the Grand Final of PNM’s 2026 Sports and Arts Week (PORSENI) was officially held, bringing together thousands of PNM personnel from across Indonesia who, for the next few days, swapped roles from employees to athletes, singers, dancers, and even comedians.
Carrying the theme ‘Synergy in Achievement, Building Together with PNM’, the event served as a moment of togetherness as well as proof that a company’s strength is not only seen in its business performance, but also in how closely it can unite dozens of its branches in a single shared spirit.
Opening the Grand Final, PNM Managing Director Kindaris stressed that the day was not merely about who won and lost on the field.
‘Today is not just about competition. Today is about celebrating the long journey that has brought PNM personnel from various regions, branches, talents, and stories together in one spirit of togetherness,’ said Kindaris.
He added that throughout this year’s PORSENI series, that spirit was the common thread for every participant, regardless of the final results they achieved.
‘Some pursued victory, some showcased creativity through art, some won, and some had to accept defeat. However, they all share one thing in common: they gave their best. For me, this is the true meaning of PORSENI. At PNM, we do not just work together. We grow together, struggle together, and celebrate success together. This is the One PNM spirit,’ he asserted.
The scale of this year’s event was considerable. A total of 58 branches, the head office, and PNM subsidiaries took part, presenting thousands of athletes and talents competing both in person and online from the western to the eastern ends of Indonesia.
They are PNM personnel who, on a daily basis, assist customers and drive the grassroots economy, but once PORSENI began, they transformed into fighters on the field and stage carrying the name of their respective branches.
The series leading up to the Grand Final began with the qualifying rounds held in two stages. On 11 July 2026, Medan, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Makassar became the arenas for men’s mini football, badminton, table tennis, and padel competitions.
The following week, from 14 to 18 July 2026, the competition moved to the digital realm through Mobile Legends e-sports, a dance competition, PNM Idol, a band competition, and stand-up comedy, uniting all PNM branches through a single screen.
From the thousands of participants who competed in the qualifying rounds, only 277 of the best athletes and officials managed to secure a golden ticket to the Grand Final. They are the result of the strictest selection and now stand at the most honourable point of the entire PORSENI series: the grand stage.
‘Compete with heart. Give your best ability and do not do things half-heartedly, because those at the Grand Final today are the best individuals who have represented their regions. Secondly, uphold sportsmanship. Win with humility and accept defeat with grace. Match results determine who becomes champion, but our attitude determines our character,’ Kindaris advised all finalists.
He also expressed hope that the PNM PORSENI 2026 Grand Final would become more than just an event to find the best. Ultimately, PNM PORSENI 2026 is not only about who goes home with a trophy. It is the second historical record written by PNM with the sweat, determination, and collective pride of all its personnel across Indonesia.
