PNM Sends 102 Top Employees on Umrah as Performance Reward

Jakarta – PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero), or PNM, has once again recognised its outstanding employees through the Employee Reward Umrah programme. In the third batch of departures for 2026, a total of 102 selected employees were sent to the Holy Land as a token of appreciation for their dedication and contributions to the company. This programme serves as a form of recognition that is not solely oriented towards professional achievement, but also provides an opportunity for PNM personnel to strengthen their spiritual values through the Umrah pilgrimage. The departure is part of a series of Employee Reward Umrah initiatives carried out by PNM throughout 2026. Prior to their selection, the participants were among thousands of PNM employees who have carried out their duties and responsibilities with high dedication. In Islam, the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages are believed to be a calling from Allah SWT to His servants. This belief accompanied the departure of the award recipients from PNM. As stated in a hadith narrated by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and recorded in Sunan Ibnu Majah Number 2893, those who perform Hajj and Umrah are delegates of Allah SWT. They are called to answer His summons, and when they ask of Him, Allah will grant their prayers. PNM considers the reward through the Umrah programme not merely as a journey to the Holy Land, but as a form of appreciation for the employees’ commitment to carrying out their work while delivering benefits to the community through their duties. The Employee Reward Umrah programme is expected to be a momentum for the recipients to increase their closeness to Allah SWT, to be grateful for the journey they have undertaken during their employment, and to bring a renewed spirit upon returning to their activities. Beyond being a form of reward, the programme is also expected to strengthen positive values that can be applied in daily life, whether within the family environment, the workplace, or the wider community. Through this spiritual experience, the employees are expected to continue cultivating a spirit of providing the best service while expanding benefits to others. One of the recipients of the Employee Reward Umrah, Siti Masito, admitted she never imagined she would have the opportunity to perform the Umrah pilgrimage through her career journey with PNM.
