National Information - PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) organised a series of Ramadan activities titled Ramadan Madani, Embrace Harmony, as an effort to spread care for others, especially orphans and the underprivileged.

The activities were implemented across PNM service networks spread across 36 provinces, covering 58 branch offices and 4,655 unit offices from Sabang to Merauke. Various activities were held during Ramadan, including religious study sessions after the Dhuhr prayers, daily iftar gatherings, itikaf, and charitable aid to orphans and the underprivileged.

For PNM, madani is not merely a term but a commitment to bringing meaningful benefits to society through values of care, etiquette, and mutual respect. The values underpin efforts to empower around 22.9 million customers served by PNM.

In addition to spiritual activities in the workplace, PNM also organised charitable donations for orphans and the underprivileged conducted by 58 branch offices across the regions. At PNM’s headquarters, the PNM Tower, children were also invited to learn about the world of work through role-play activities in several divisions.

Through these activities, the children were introduced to a variety of simple tasks illustrating the roles of the divisions within PNM in empowering ultra-micro, micro, and small business operators. The activities are hoped to foster enthusiasm and hope that every child has the opportunity to dream and contribute to society.

One of the underprivileged children from a PNM Mekaar customer family said they were happy to participate in the activities. ‘Very happy to receive snacks, money, and exciting experiences like this. It feels wonderful to have many older siblings who care,’ the child said.

PNM Corporate Secretary Dodot Patria Ary said the Ramadan activities form part of PNM’s commitment to instilling the Madani values in every step of empowerment. He described the month as a reminder to broaden sharing and to extend care for others.

‘Through this series of activities, we hope that all stakeholders involved, both internal and external to PNM, including the orphans and the underprivileged, can pray for the best for PNM and the 22.9 million underprivileged people we empower,’ Dodot said, on Thursday, 6 March 2026.
