PNM Employee Award Programme Sends Papuan Staff to Japan
PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) has once again launched its Employee Award programme to Japan, recognising outstanding employees from various regions of Indonesia who have demonstrated integrity, a spirit of service, and contribution in assisting more than 23.3 million underprivileged women nationwide up to June 2026. Through this trip, the awardees are not only introduced to Japan’s work culture, known for its discipline and innovation, but are also expected to bring home new inspiration to continuously improve service quality and strengthen the work culture within PNM. One of the award recipients is Rodrina, a PNM Account Officer who assists clients in the Jayapura, Sorong, and Merauke areas. For her, the award represents a meaningful journey after two years of service with PNM. It has not only provided an opportunity to develop professionally, but PNM has also brought significant changes to her family’s life. “Thank you very much to PNM. Joining PNM has truly brought blessings to my family. From this job, I was able to build a house for my parents and send my five younger siblings to school. This award motivates me to continue providing the best service to the women clients who also struggle every day to change their families’ lives,” said Rodrina. The Employee Award programme is part of PNM’s commitment to building superior human resources while strengthening corporate culture. Through direct learning experiences in Japan, the awardees are expected to gain new perspectives on work ethic, collaboration, innovation, and service that can be applied to support the company’s transformation and improve the quality of assistance for underprivileged communities. PNM’s Director of Business and Human Resources, Henry Yunus Kamang Pangamanan, stated that the award represents the company’s trust in PNM personnel who have shown extraordinary dedication. “We express our appreciation to all PNM awardees who have made the best contributions to the company and society. We hope that upon returning from Japan, the awardees will bring back spirit, discipline, and an exceptional work culture, so they can inspire their colleagues and together build a stronger organisation capable of supporting Indonesia’s faster progress towards becoming a developed nation,” said Henry. For PNM, empowerment does not stop at providing capital, mentoring, and business development for clients. Behind every empowerment step, PNM also continuously prepares its best people to grow through various training programmes, scholarship support, and forms of appreciation such as this reward for high-achieving employees. The hope is that every piece of knowledge, experience, and new spirit brought back will ultimately benefit the clients, families, and communities they serve.
