Through the act of sacrifice during Eid al-Adha, the spirit of sharing is not only a form of devotion but also a reminder that every blessing received can benefit the surrounding community.

PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) embodied this spirit through its PNM Bersyukur dan Berkurban initiative. This year, 18 PNM branches simultaneously distributed and slaughtered sacrificial cows, with the meat distributed to villagers in areas served by PNM. The activity is part of the company’s efforts to strengthen community ties, not only through financing and business support but also through tangible social care.

At the headquarters, PNM also slaughtered two sacrificial cows, distributing the meat to 500 beneficiaries around Menara PNM. Recipients included local residents, micro, small, and medium enterprise (UMKM) entrepreneurs, and daily workers in the Menara PNM vicinity. This distribution reflects the company’s gratitude for its journey and the trust it has built with the community.

The PNM Bersyukur dan Berkurban initiative also aligns with PNM’s 27th anniversary theme, ‘Together at Every Step, Supporting Every Struggle’. Through this theme, PNM emphasises that its presence extends beyond financing and business mentorship to include social care that touches community life.

Through this initiative, PNM brings the spirit of Eid al-Adha as an opportunity for mutual sharing, care, and strengthening ties with the local community.

Sule, a ketoprak street vendor who sells near Menara PNM, was among the beneficiaries. He expressed gratitude for the sacrificial meat, stating it was a meaningful gesture, especially during Eid al-Adha.

‘Thank you to PNM for the sacrificial meat. May this kindness bring blessings to PNM and all involved,’ Sule said.

Similarly, Suryadi, the head of Petungsinarang Village in PNM’s Wonogiri branch area, praised the assistance, noting it not only helped meet food needs during Eid al-Adha but also demonstrated direct community care.

‘Residents of Dusun Weruteklok, Petungsinarang Village, extend our deepest thanks to PNM for the Eid al-Adha sacrificial cows. May this be a blessed act of worship, benefiting others, and rewarded with abundant provisions, health, and blessings from Allah SWT,’ he said.

PNM remains committed to its role in financing and empowerment, focusing not just on economic aspects but also social and humanitarian values. Through Eid al-Adha, PNM hopes the spirit of sharing will grow into a culture of care that benefits the wider community.
