PNM Dispatches Papuan Employee to Japan for Dedicated Service Award
As a form of appreciation for dedication and tangible work, PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) has once again presented its Employee Award programme with a trip to Japan. The award is given to outstanding employees from various regions of Indonesia who demonstrate integrity, a spirit of service, and contribution in assisting more than 23.3 million underprivileged women across Indonesia up to June 2026. Through this journey, awardees are not only introduced to Japan’s work culture, known for its discipline and innovation, but also bring home new inspiration to continuously improve service quality and strengthen the work culture within PNM. One of the recipients is Rodrina, a PNM Account Officer who assists clients in the Jayapura, Sorong, and Merauke areas. For her, this award is a meaningful journey after two years of service with PNM. Not only has it provided an opportunity to develop professionally, but PNM has also brought significant change to her family’s life. “Thank you very much to PNM. Joining PNM has truly brought blessings to my family. From this job, I was able to build a house for my parents and send my five younger siblings to school,” she said. According to her, this award serves as motivation to continue providing the best service to the women clients who also struggle daily to change their families’ lives. The Employee Award programme is part of PNM’s commitment to building superior human resources while strengthening the corporate culture. Through direct learning experiences in Japan, the awardees are expected to gain new perspectives on work ethic, collaboration, innovation, and service that can be applied to support the company’s transformation and improve the quality of assistance to underprivileged communities. PNM’s Director of Business and Human Resources, Henry Yunus Kamang Pangamanan, explained that this award is a form of the company’s trust in PNM personnel who have shown extraordinary dedication. “We extend our appreciation to all PNM awardees who have made the best contributions to the company and the community,” he said in a written statement on Wednesday (8/7/2026). He hopes that upon returning from Japan, the awardees will bring back extraordinary spirit, discipline, and work culture, enabling them to become an inspiration for other colleagues and together build a stronger organisation capable of supporting Indonesia in becoming a developed country more quickly. For PNM, empowerment does not stop at providing capital, mentoring, and business development for clients. Behind every step of empowerment, PNM continues to prepare its best personnel to grow through various training programmes, scholarship support, and appreciation such as this reward for outstanding employees. The hope is that every new piece of knowledge, experience, and spirit brought home can be felt again by clients, families, and the communities they serve.
