PM Goh to visit Cambodia

PHNOM PENH (Reuter): Singapore Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong
will visit Cambodia with a large business delegation next week,
Foreign Ministry officials said yesterday.

The Singaporean leader will arrive on Nov. 4 for an overnight
visit. He is expected to hold bilateral talks with co-premiers
Prince Norodom Ranariddh and Hun Sen, and to meet King Norodom
Sihanouk, Foreign Minister Ung Huot said.

Goh's agenda had yet to be finalized, but the spokesman said
the two sides were expected to sign agreements on investment
protection and promotion and on air services.

The Singapore premier, making his first visit to this country,
is also set to open a brewery built by Singapore-based Asia
Pacific Breweries. Singapore is one of Cambodia's leading trade
partners.
