Kompas.com - Registration for the Free Homecoming program with PLN is still open until Saturday (February 28, 2026). Registration can be done through the PLN Mobile application.

This year, PLN provides free homecoming transportation from seven departure points, namely: Jakarta, Banda Aceh, Padang, Surabaya, Makassar, Denpasar, and Balikpapan.

The facilities provided include transportation tickets, snacks and dinner, travel insurance, and souvenirs.

How to register for the PLN 2026 Free Homecoming Program

Here are the registration steps via the PLN Mobile application:

  • Download the PLN Mobile application via the Google Play Store or App Store.

  • Register an account using an active mobile phone number.

  • Select the “PLN 2026 Free Homecoming” menu on the main page of the application.

  • Fill in passenger data according to official identity documents and upload the requested documents.

  • Determine the travel route and the available departure schedule in the system.

  • Wait for the system to issue a registration number or electronic ticket after the filling process is successful.

Participants can monitor the status of their application through the “Registration History” or “Ticket Status” menu in the PLN Mobile application.

If the status changes to “Verified” or “Approved”, participants are required to confirm their presence and download the electronic ticket as valid proof during departure.

  • Registration is only through the PLN Mobile application.

  • 1 PLN Mobile account can only be used for 1 registration.

  • Must fill in personal data according to the identity card and family card.

  • The form must be filled in by the prospective traveler and cannot be delegated. Participants have not registered or are not registered in other BUMN homecoming programs.

  • If prospective travelers are proven to have registered with other BUMNs before registering with PLN, then the prospective travelers are considered to have canceled their participation in the PLN homecoming and the guarantee money cannot be returned and will be donated in the name of the homecoming participants.

  • Participants can register a maximum of 3 family members or a total of 4 people in one form.

  • Willing to be a beneficiary of the 2026 BUMN Free Homecoming program organized by PLN.

  • To increase the benefits for travelers and mutual commitment, participants provide a guarantee of certainty.

  • Departure of Rp 100,000/person, and will be returned in the form of an electricity e-voucher in PLN Mobile with the same nominal value if they depart.

  • For participants who have babies, they must be registered and provide a guarantee of departure.

  • Participants who do not re-register are considered not participating in the homecoming and the guarantee money will be donated in the name of the homecoming participants.

  • If the quota has been met during the registration period, then the registration will be closed earlier and will be announced to prospective travelers.
