PLN UID Yogyakarta Proposes Three Programmes for TJSL Awards 2026
In commemoration of Pancasila Sanctity Day, PT PLN (Persero) Yogyakarta Distribution Main Unit (UID) has presented three programmes for the 2026 TJSL Awards. The nominated programmes include the Baros Mangrove Conservation Ecotourism for the Environment category, Rumah BUMN Gunungkidul for the Rumah BUMN category, and Elfata Fashion—an SME mentored by Rumah BUMN Gunungkidul—for the Best SME category.
The General Manager of PLN UID Yogyakarta, Deri Prasetio Utomo, stated that this participation is part of PLN’s commitment to delivering Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programmes that provide real and sustainable benefits to the community.
“Pancasila values serve as the foundation for PLN in executing its corporate role, including through TJSL programmes. We want every programme to go beyond merely providing aid, but to be capable of increasing community capacity and creating self-reliance,” said Deri.
Rumah BUMN Gunungkidul, under PLN’s mentorship, has supported over 1,700 SMEs since 2017. In 2026, this mentorship will be strengthened through the ‘GREBEK Business Digital’ incubation programme, designed to help SME owners optimise WhatsApp Business, Instagram, TikTok, and Google Business Profiles. This support is further bolstered by marketing access through the SME Gallery, in collaboration with Hotel Santika Gunungkidul.
Meanwhile, Elfata Fashion, owned by Hesti Elfata in Pulutan, Wonosari, Gunungkidul, has evolved from a sewing business into a professional fashion service and now employs nine women. The SME previously had the opportunity to showcase its work at the PLN Showcase Jogja Fashion Week 2025.
In the Environment category, PLN UID Yogyakarta is presenting the Baros Mangrove Conservation Ecotourism programme as part of its efforts toward environmental preservation and community empowerment.
Deri noted that PLN will continue to develop TJSL programmes that have measurable, sustainable impacts and can be scaled to other regions.
