PLN South Bali ensures reliable electricity supply at Eid al-Adha prayer sites
Denpasar — PLN South Bali UP3 has ensured reliable electricity supply during the observance of Eid al-Adha 1447 AH through electrical readiness measures at multiple prayer sites across Denpasar and surrounding areas on Wednesday.
PLN South Bali UP3 Manager Alexander J. Manuhuwa stated that this measure was taken to ensure the safety and comfort of the public during their prayers, allowing them to worship peacefully without power disruptions.
Electrical readiness measures were implemented at strategic locations, including mosques and open fields serving as Eid prayer sites, such as Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, Sudirman Mosque, Annur Mosque, Lumintang Field, and Niti Mandala Renon Field.
PLN has prepared primary and backup power supply systems, along with mobile teams, to ensure the electrical system remains reliable throughout the prayer activities.
Alexander noted that power readiness during religious holidays reflects PLN’s commitment to providing the best service to the public.
“PLN is committed to maintaining reliable electricity supply so the public can observe Eid al-Adha safely and comfortably. All staff have been deployed at priority sites to ensure uninterrupted power during the event,” said Alexander.
He added that electrical infrastructure readiness is not only technical but also a service to the public to ensure communal and religious activities proceed smoothly without disruption.
The readiness measures received positive feedback from the public. Reza, an Eid prayer attendee from Denpasar at Renon Field, expressed gratitude for the orderly and comfortable prayer environment that allowed for a serene worship experience.
“The atmosphere was very comfortable and orderly, enabling us to worship peacefully and devoutly with our families and fellow community members,” said Reza.
Throughout the readiness period, all monitoring points remained safe with normal electricity supply from start to finish of the prayers. PLN South Bali UP3 continues to urge the public to use electricity safely and report potential issues via the PLN Mobile app for swift resolution.
