PLN reshuffles board of directors, introduces deputy CEO position
The 2026 General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS) of PT PLN (Persero) has approved changes to the company’s board of directors, introducing a new nomenclature of Deputy President Director (Wadirut). The meeting was held at the office of the State-Owned Enterprise Regulatory Body (BUMN) in Jakarta on Thursday (18/6).
Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications and TJSL at PLN, Gregorius Adi Trianto, stated in an official release that the decision is part of efforts to strengthen corporate governance and ensure the sustainability of PLN’s transformation in facing increasingly dynamic challenges within the electricity industry, while supporting the achievement of national development targets in the energy sector.
Greg conveyed that all PLN personnel express their highest appreciation and gratitude to the outgoing board members for their dedication, contributions, and service in driving the company’s transformation, improving corporate performance, enhancing service quality for customers, and supporting the national energy transition agenda. PLN also congratulated all directors who have received new mandates, expressing confidence that their experience, competence, and leadership will further strengthen PLN’s steps in carrying out its mandate to provide reliable, sustainable, and community-oriented electricity supply.
The RUPS added the Deputy President Director nomenclature and established the complete composition of PLN’s current Board of Directors as follows:
Darmawan Prasodjo as President Director;
Yusuf Didi Setiarto as Deputy President Director;
Nurlely Aman as Director of Legal and Human Capital Management;
Sulistyo Biantoro as Director of Finance;
Rakhmad Dewanto Haris J. as Director of Corporate Planning and Business Development;
Suroso Isnandar as Director of Project Management and New Renewable Energy;
Edwin Nugraha Putra as Director of Technology, Engineering, and Sustainability;
M. Fahrur Rozy as Director of Retail and Commerce;
Denny Triyanto as Director of Risk Management;
Daniel Karmel Fernando Tampubolon as Director of Transmission and System Planning;
Rizal Calvary Marimbo as Director of Generation Management;
