Makassar (ANTARA) - PT PLN, through the PLN Mobile Super App, has prepared a Cost Simulation feature that helps customers quickly, in detail, and transparently know the estimated costs of electricity services before making an application. “We continue to bring digital-based service innovations to provide convenience for customers,” said General Manager of PT PLN’s Main Distribution Unit for South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, and West Sulawesi (UID Sulselrabar) Edyansyah in Makassar, South Sulawesi, on Tuesday. He explained that this feature is part of PLN’s service transformation to make it increasingly practical and open. Through PLN Mobile, said Edyansyah, customers can now easily calculate their own estimated electricity service costs. All information is available clearly so that customers can be more prepared and do not need to worry. He also emphasised that this feature helps customers avoid intermediaries that could potentially harm them. “With the official cost simulation, customers no longer need to use third-party services. All processes can be done directly through PLN Mobile with costs according to regulations,” he added. To use this feature, customers simply need to download the PLN Mobile app via the Play Store or App Store, then log in using their mobile phone number. After that, select the Cost Simulation menu, determine the desired service type including the Certificate of Operational Fitness (SLO) option if needed, then press Calculate. The estimation results will immediately appear in detail, so customers can know the cost overview from the start and plan their electricity needs more thoroughly. “The information displayed has been adjusted to the selected service, including SLO, so customers get an accurate and transparent calculation,” explained Edyansyah. PLN hopes this feature can increase customer security and comfort in accessing electricity services. “Always use official PLN services through PLN Mobile. Practical, transparent, and without intermediaries,” he added.
