PLN prepares 500 free homecoming quotas for the Denpasar-East Java route
Denpasar (ANTARA) - PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Distribusi (UID) Bali is preparing 500 free homecoming quotas for 2026, specifically for departures from Denpasar to several locations in East Java.
General Manager of PLN UID Bali, Eric Rossi Priyo Nugroho, in Denpasar, Thursday, said that this programme is designed to help people return to their hometowns safely, comfortably, and without transportation costs in the lead-up to Eid al-Fitr.
For the Bali region, he added, the mode of transport provided is a bus with a departure schedule on 17 March 2026 from the Ubung Terminal, Denpasar.
Registration will be carried out online via the PLN Mobile application from 25-28 February 2026 at 09.00-16.00 WIB or until the quota is met.
Participants who pass the verification stage, he said, are required to re-register on 5-6 March 2026 at the PLN UID Bali office.
Eric Rossi emphasised that this programme is a form of PLN’s presence for the community, not only through electricity services but also through social support that has a direct impact.
To ensure commitment to departure and optimise the quota, participants will be required to pay a guarantee fee of IDR 100,000 per person, which will be returned in the form of an electricity e-voucher in the PLN Mobile application with the same value after the participant departs.
PLN appeals to the public not to register for more than one BUMN homecoming programme. If the quota has been met before the registration period ends, registration will be closed earlier.
