PLN prepares 38 posts to ensure electricity reliability during Eid in Kalselteng

Palangka Raya - PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Business Unit for South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan (Kalselteng) is ensuring the reliability of electricity supply during Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah/2026 by preparing 38 posts distributed across the two provinces. “PLN UID Kalselteng has also prepared 38 distribution handling post locations and 18 mudik posts spread across various strategic points. In addition, security efforts are focused on 184 other important locations, such as community activity centres, public facilities, and vital objects,” said the General Manager of PLN UID Kalselteng, Iwan Soelistijono, when contacted in Palangka Raya on Wednesday. He also assured the reliability of electricity ahead of the Eid al-Fitr celebration by conducting direct inspections at several Ramadan and Eid preparedness posts. During the activity, the management team reviewed various important aspects, including personnel readiness, completeness of work equipment, and supporting facilities used to support field post operations. “Through this visit, we ensure that all personnel are always ready to provide the best service to the community, both in handling potential electrical disturbances and in supporting the smooth travel of the public during the mudik moment,” said Iwan. In addition, the management reminded all officers to always prioritise electrical safety aspects in every task implementation, as the main foundation in maintaining operational reliability in the field.
