PLN: Power outages in parts of Aceh due to unstable system

Banda Aceh (ANTARA) - PLN Aceh Distribution Unit (UID) has reported power outages in several Aceh regions due to an unstable electricity system. ‘The Aceh electricity system remains unstable, causing power outages in several areas,’ said Lukman Hakim, PLN Aceh UID’s Communication and CSR Manager, in Banda Aceh on Monday night. He explained that PLN is optimising Diesel Power Plant (PLTD) usage to support the grid as an immediate measure. Normalisation will proceed gradually as the Sub System Aceh network stabilises, he added. The company also apologised for the inconvenience caused by the disruption.
