PLN Offers Power Increase Promotion Through PLN Mobile

National News – PT PLN (Persero) has relaunched a promotional discount on electricity power increases this Ramadan. Through the “Bright Ramadan, Peaceful Eid” programme, PLN is offering a 50 per cent discount on connection fees for power increases for single-phase customers with initial capacity between 450 Volt Ampere (VA) and 5,500 VA seeking to upgrade to 7,700 VA.

Customers can take advantage of this promotion from 25 February to 10 March 2026 through the PLN Mobile application.

Adi Priyanto, PLN’s Director of Retail and Commercial Operations, stated that the programme represents PLN’s commitment to providing electricity services to support the comfort of the community in carrying out religious obligations during Ramadan through Eid al-Fitr. The programme provides an opportunity for customers seeking to optimise their electricity usage through power increases at affordable costs.

“During Ramadan, household electricity needs tend to increase alongside increased domestic activities. Through this programme, PLN offers convenient power increases with lower costs so that the community can carry out activities, particularly during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, without being hindered by power limitations,” he said.

PLN is offering a 50 per cent discount on power increases for single-phase low-voltage customers across all tariff categories, with initial capacity between 450 VA and 5,500 VA seeking to increase to 7,700 VA, exclusively through PLN Mobile. Customers wishing to enjoy this promotion need only undertake a token purchase transaction or pay their electricity bill through the PLN Mobile application. Subsequently, customers will receive an e-voucher for the power increase, which can be claimed through the promotional feature in the application.

“After obtaining the e-voucher, customers can immediately submit a power increase request through PLN Mobile by entering the voucher code. The subsequent connection process will be carried out by PLN officers in accordance with applicable Service Quality Standards,” Adi added.

As an example, a household customer with initial capacity of 450 VA seeking to increase to 7,700 VA would typically incur connection costs of Rp7,025,250. Through this programme, customers will receive a 50 per cent reduction, resulting in a payment of only Rp3,512,625.

“Through this programme, we hope customers can take advantage of the convenience offered by PLN Mobile’s digital services to ensure adequate electricity capacity at home, so that worship activities and family togetherness during Ramadan can take place more comfortably without electricity constraints,” Adi concluded.
