PLN Nusantara Power Supplies 14.1 GW of Electricity During the RAFI 1447 H Period
With the readiness of personnel, the implementation of technology, and strong synergy with stakeholders, we are optimistic that we can ensure that Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1447 H remain brightly lit for all Muslims in Indonesia. Jakarta (ANTARA) - PLN Nusantara Power (PLN NP) is supplying 14.1 gigawatts (GW) of electricity or approximately 42 percent of the total national peak load of 35 GW during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr (RAFI) 1447 Hijriah period. “PLN Nusantara Power is committed to providing reliable electricity for the comfort of the community,” said the President Director of PLN Nusantara Power, Ruly Firmansyah, in an official statement received in Jakarta on Monday. PLN NP has prepared 8,898 personnel, 126 posts, and 45 fire truck units spread across various regions in Indonesia during Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, and post-Eid al-Fitr. PLN NP also contributes to generating 1,821 MW of green electricity sourced from various hydroelectric power plants (PLTA) and solar power plants (PLTS). The PLN NP readiness period is from 12 to 31 March 2026. “With the readiness of personnel, the implementation of technology, and strong synergy with stakeholders, we are optimistic that we can ensure that Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1447 H remain brightly lit for all Muslims in Indonesia,” said Ruly. As a precautionary measure, PLN NP is also strengthening cross-stakeholder coordination, including with elements of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), Police, and communities around power generation units. Through these strategic steps, Ruly emphasised PLN Nusantara Power’s position as a reliable, adaptive, and fully prepared power generation company in maintaining the quality of the national electricity supply, so that Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1447 H can proceed more peacefully, comfortably, and brightly for all Indonesian society.
