PLN North Sumatra Provides Free Circumcision Services for Underprivileged Children

Medan (ANTARA) - PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Distribusi (UID) North Sumatra has provided free circumcision services for children from underprivileged families as a form of the company’s concern for the health of the nation’s future generation. The programme provided free circumcision for 71 children from underprivileged families in Medan, said PLN UID North Sumatra General Manager Mundhakir on Tuesday. Mundhakir stated that the social activity serves as a momentum to strengthen compassion and deliver broader benefits to the community. He expressed hope that the 71 children who participated in the programme would grow up to become a healthy, pious, and courageous generation who make their families and the nation proud. The assistance was given as a form of appreciation and to motivate the children who have shown bravery in undergoing the circumcision process, he said. Mundhakir added that the activity was a manifestation of collaboration among the extended PLN UID North Sumatra family through YBM PLN, PIKK PLN, and SP PLN to bring happiness to those in need. This collaboration is proof that collective compassion can deliver tangible benefits to the community, he remarked.
