PLN Mobile Becomes Solution for Electricity Services During WFH
Makassar (ANTARA) - General Manager of PT PLN’s Distribution Unit for South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, and West Sulawesi (UID Sulselrabar), Edyansyah, has assured that PLN Mobile serves as a solution for electricity services during the Work From Home (WFH) initiative currently implemented by the government. “The use of electronic devices while working from home is more intensive and lasts longer, thus increasing electricity power needs. Customers can adjust these needs through the power increase service available on PLN Mobile in a practical manner,” said Edyansyah in Makassar on Friday. In line with that policy, added Edyansyah, PT PLN is fully prepared to support it by maintaining the reliability of electricity supply and providing various electricity services through PLN Mobile. With the implementation of WFH, working from home activities have increased. The use of electronic devices such as laptops, air conditioners, and other supporting devices has become more intensive, thereby increasing electricity power needs. He added that PLN Mobile also provides various electricity services in one application, from power increases to other services. “Besides power increases, customers can also make electricity bill payments, token purchases, new installation applications, and self-meter readings in one application,” said Edyansyah. To apply for a power increase, customers simply need to open the PLN Mobile application, select the Power Change and Migration menu, enter the Customer ID or meter number, complete the data, and proceed to payment. This process can be monitored directly through the application. In addition, if there are electricity issues, customers can also submit complaints through the PLN Mobile application by opening the Complaint menu, completing the report details including photos and descriptions, and selecting the arrival time for technicians. “In one application, customers can manage their electricity needs more easily and practically according to their daily activities,” he said.
