PLN Indonesia Power Strengthens Governance and Compliance Leadership
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT PLN Indonesia Power (PLN IP) continues to strengthen its governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management sustainably.
PLN Indonesia Power Managing Director Bernadus Sudarmanta stated on Wednesday in Jakarta that the company is further solidifying its position as a leading power generator, excelling not only in operations and energy innovation but also in professional, transparent, and sustainable corporate governance.
“We believe that good governance is a crucial foundation for maintaining business sustainability and creating added value for both the company and stakeholders,” he said.
According to Bernadus, these achievements were recognised at the Indonesia Regulatory Compliance Awards (IRCA) 2026 in Jakarta on Friday, 22 May 2026.
“This award is a tangible testament to PLN Indonesia Power’s consistent efforts in fostering a strong governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) culture amid the national power industry’s transformation,” he added.
At the event, PLN IP’s Finance and Risk Management Director, Endang Astharanti, received the Most Inspiring Leader award and Best of The Best Emerging Leader in Regulatory Compliance in the Prosper B category.
Meanwhile, as an institution, PLN Indonesia Power was awarded the Sapphire Prosper B category, the highest corporate ranking for regulatory compliance and corporate governance implementation.
Additionally, PLN IP subsidiary, PLN Indonesia Power Services, received the Diamond Prosper A award.
The IRCA is an accolade given to Indonesian companies that demonstrate outstanding performance in individual leadership and regulatory compliance strategies.
Hukum Online CEO Arkka Dhiratara stressed the importance of corporate governance and regulatory compliance as a fundamental basis for creating a healthy and competitive investment climate.
“Companies that maintain integrity, strengthen compliance, and manage risks sustainably will have robust business resilience and serve as key pillars supporting national economic growth and Indonesia’s investment climate,” he said.
He added that the awards would motivate companies to continuously enhance compliance and governance standards across all organisational levels.
