Jakarta (ANTARA) - PLN Icon Plus, together with the Yogyakarta Special Region High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati DIY), has established a cooperation in the fields of Civil and State Administrative Law (Datun) to provide legal certainty for business activities and support the acceleration of the digital transformation being carried out by the company in various regions.

The President Director of PLN Icon Plus, Chipta Perdana, stated that this cooperation is part of efforts to strengthen good corporate governance.

According to him, legal assistance from the Prosecutor’s Office is considered an important element to ensure that every business step operates within the applicable legal framework.

“We are not only building digital infrastructure, but also ensuring that the entire process is built on a strong foundation of law and governance,” he said in his statement in Jakarta on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Senior Manager of PLN Icon Plus SBU Central Java Region, Leandra Agung Tri Radi Putra, emphasised that this collaboration will strengthen the implementation of operations and service development in the working area.

“This legal assistance support gives us confidence in carrying out various network and digital service development programmes. In addition, this cooperation also helps ensure that all business processes run in accordance with applicable legal provisions,” he said.

The cooperation agreement, signed on Wednesday (15/4), covers assistance in strategic decision-making, preparation and review of contracts, resolution of civil and state administrative disputes, asset regulation, and debt collection.

This aligns with the role of the Civil and State Administrative Law Division as regulated in the applicable laws and regulations.
