The Srikandi of PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia (PLN EPI) organised an energy education activity for elementary school students to commemorate National Children’s Day 2026. The event was held at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Hidayatul Anam in the Kuningan area of Jakarta, located within the company’s ring one office zone, on Friday (24/7).

Dozens of students from grades 1 to 6 participated in various educational activities guided by the Srikandi PLN EPI. The material was delivered through interactive presentations, educational games, learning videos, quizzes, and simple simulations regarding the benefits of electricity, the process of providing electrical energy, the importance of electrical safety, and the habit of using energy wisely in daily life.

Erma Melina Sarahwati, Chair of Srikandi PLN EPI and Director of Gas and BBM at PLN EPI, stated that this activity is part of the implementation of the Srikandi Movement, specifically the ‘Srikandi Goes to School’ programme. She said the initiative aims to build a young generation that is intelligent, caring, and responsible regarding energy use. Erma added that the company hopes to instil an understanding of energy from an early age, fostering a culture of energy conservation and electrical safety as part of character building for the future generation.

The Head of MI Hidayatul Anam, Atikah, appreciated the initiative, noting that the students were enthusiastic and that the interactive delivery made the lessons about electricity, safety, and energy conservation easy to understand.
