PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia (PLN EPI) is promoting a healthy lifestyle change that is not merely temporary but becomes part of the work culture and daily routine of employees. Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia (PLN EPI) has launched the Wellness Programme 2026 as part of the company’s efforts to sustainably improve the health quality and productivity of its employees. Dedeng Hidayat, Director of Human Capital Management and Administration at PLN EPI, stated in Jakarta on Saturday that this programme implements the PLN Group initiative titled Energi Bergerak, which encourages a healthy lifestyle culture through measurable and integrated physical activities. “Through this programme, PLN EPI is promoting a healthy lifestyle change that is not merely temporary but becomes part of the work culture and daily routine of employees,” he explained. Dedeng stated that the Wellness Programme is a strategic step by the company to support organisational performance through improving the quality of human resources. “This programme not only focuses on physical health but also mental health and work-life balance for employees. Healthy employees will be more productive, focused, and able to deliver the best performance for the company,” he said. He added that the implementation of the wellness programme at PLN EPI is expected to increase employee engagement and satisfaction. Currently, the programme has been joined by 92 employees as pioneers out of a total of 311 PLN EPI employees. The participants are expected to become agents of change who can inspire other employees to consistently adopt a healthy lifestyle. The PLN EPI Wellness Programme 2026 encompasses various initiatives, including health talks, app-based sports activities, medical check-ups, and the provision of healthy food facilities. All employees’ physical activities will be recorded through a digital application to measure calorie achievements and their relation to health indicators such as Body Mass Index (BMI). In addition, this programme is also integrated with the PLN Group-level competition titled “Energi Bergerak 2026”, which encourages active employee participation through a more interactive and sustainable approach. Through this programme, PLN EPI not only builds a healthy and productive work culture but also strengthens the company’s commitment to the social aspect in the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, particularly in creating a work environment that supports overall employee welfare. “We believe that the best performance comes from healthy, balanced individuals who continue to move forward,” Dedeng explained.
