PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia (PLN EPI) is improving the financial literacy and resilience of its employees amidst the continuously evolving global economic dynamics. Director of Human Capital Management and Administration at PLN EPI, Dedeng Hidayat, stated that the ability to manage personal finances has become an essential competency for every employee, given the increasing economic challenges such as interest rate changes, geopolitical dynamics, exchange rate fluctuations, and financial market volatility. “PLN EPI views financial literacy as an important part of developing the quality of human resources,” he said in a statement in Jakarta on Friday. In an effort to improve financial literacy, PLN EPI organised a Financial Wellbeing Series on Monday (22/6/2026), which was attended by all employees. “Through this activity, we want to equip employees with a better understanding of managing finances, maintaining financial health, and choosing investment instruments that suit their risk profile and financial goals,” said Dedeng. According to him, good financial health will help employees work more focused, be more productive, and be able to make wiser decisions in facing various economic changes. Therefore, strengthening financial literacy is part of the company’s efforts to build adaptive and competitive individuals. PLN EPI believes that employees with good financial literacy will be better prepared to face economic challenges, plan their future more maturely, and contribute optimally to the company. Through strengthening financial literacy, PLN EPI is not only building professionally excellent individuals but also encouraging the creation of a healthy financial culture, so that employees have strong financial resilience in facing various economic dynamics in the future. In addition to discussing economic prospects and investment strategies, participants of the Financial Wellbeing Series also gained insights into personal financial management, ranging from setting financial goals, budgeting, cash flow management, to the importance of an emergency fund as the foundation of financial health. The material is expected to help employees build more structured and sustainable financial planning. The Financial Wellbeing Series programme is part of PLN EPI’s commitment to supporting employees through the development of competencies relevant to current needs.
