PLN ensures smooth electricity supply during PAM Jaya substation maintenance

PLN Jakarta Raya Distribution Main Unit (UID), through the PLN Menteng Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3), has ensured that the electricity supply to the public remains stable during the maintenance of electrical substations supplying PAM Jaya’s operational facilities.

General Manager of PLN UID Jakarta Raya, Moch. Andy Adchaminoerdin, stated that the collaboration between PLN and PAM Jaya represents a shared commitment to maintaining the continuity of public services, which are essential basic needs for the community.

“The maintenance of the distribution substation supplying electricity to PAM Jaya is being carried out using a ‘No-Outage’ method. This synergy with PAM Jaya is a manifestation of our commitment to providing reliable, safe, and sustainable services to support the quality of life in Jakarta,” Andy Adcha said in Jakarta on Saturday.

Following joint technical studies and supervision, a scheme has been prepared to secure the electricity supply while the work is in progress. One of the measures taken is the provision of backup power via Mobile Cable Units (UKB) to maintain the continuity of the electricity supply to PAM Jaya’s operational facilities during the maintenance process.

This support allows the operations of clean water processing and distribution facilities to continue as normal, ensuring that the public continues to receive clean water services throughout the substation maintenance period.

Meanwhile, the Senior Manager of the PAM Jaya Production Division, Aly Sunandar, expressed appreciation for the support provided by PLN UP3 Menteng during the execution of the work.

“Through good coordination and the support of the Mobile Cable Units (UKB), PAM Jaya’s facility operations can continue smoothly, ensuring that clean water services to customers are maintained. We hope that such collaborations can continue to be developed to support the best possible service to the community,” he said.
