PLN: Electricity system gradually returning to normal in Situbondo and Bondowoso
Situbondo (ANTARA) - PT PLN (Persero) Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3) Situbondo, East Java, has stated that the electricity system in its working areas of Situbondo and Bondowoso is gradually returning to normal after several days of rolling blackouts due to load management. PT PLN UP3 Situbondo Manager Teguh Budi Oktavianto explained that the electricity system in Situbondo and Bondowoso had experienced a technical fault in recent days at one of the major power plants, prompting PLN to implement load shedding to maintain the overall continuity and stability of the network. “Alhamdulillah, since Sunday (21/6) evening until today there has been no further load shedding, because information from the holding company indicates the major power plant has been synchronised back into the system,” he told reporters in Situbondo, East Java, on Monday. Nevertheless, Teguh said, field officers from PLN UP3 Situbondo remain on full alert and continue to monitor instructions from the load control centre. “We express our gratitude for the understanding, support, and cooperation of all customers and stakeholders throughout the electricity recovery process,” Teguh stated. He added that if a fault occurs at a specific location, customers can immediately report it via the PLN Mobile application and officers will handle it as quickly as possible.
