PLN Disburses Compensation for Priok SUTET Project to Support National Strategic Project Acceleration

PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Pembangunan Jawa Bagian Barat (UIP JBB) has made compensation payments for right of way (ROW) to the community for 182 plots of land and buildings along the route of the 500 kV Priok-Muara Tawar Extra High Voltage Air Line (SUTET). This move is part of the company’s commitment to supporting the acceleration of the National Strategic Project (PSN). The compensation was disbursed in stages following a process of data collection, verification, and document validation. The activity took place at the Semper Barat Urban Village office in Cilincing District, Jakarta, and was attended by local government officials, security personnel, PLN representatives, neighbourhood and community unit heads, and the compensation recipients. To date, the project’s construction progress has reached 84 percent. PLN is continuing to accelerate the work to strengthen the 500 kV transmission system, which will enhance the reliability of the electricity supply for DKI Jakarta and its surrounding areas. Semper Barat Village Head Riswinanto gave a positive assessment of the compensation process, noting it was conducted in an orderly manner and with transparency. He also urged the community to continue supporting the smooth development of the project, which serves the public interest. ‘The Semper Barat Urban Village government fully supports the construction of the 500 kV Priok-Muara Tawar SUTET. We call on the entire community to work together to maintain a conducive environment and support every stage of development so that the project can run smoothly and provide benefits to the wider community,’ said Riswinanto in Jakarta on Tuesday (4/8/2026).
