PLN Boosts Power Supply for Grand Hotel De Djokja to Support Hospitality Industry
PT PLN (Persero) has recorded a performance achievement in improving service quality to customers through the successful completion of a power change request at Grand Hotel De Djokja, a heritage hotel previously known as Grand Inna Malioboro (Hotel Garuda). Through PLN’s Yogyakarta and Wonosari Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3), the electricity capacity for the B3 tariff customer was successfully increased from 1,110,000 VA to 2,770,000 VA to support the hotel’s growing operational needs while bolstering the tourism sector in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. General Manager of PLN UID Yogyakarta, Deri Prasetio Utomo, stated that this success is part of PLN’s commitment to delivering reliable electricity services to support business growth and the regional economy. “Reliable electricity supply is a crucial foundation for the growth of the business sector, including the hospitality industry, which is one of the main drivers of Yogyakarta’s tourism. We completed this power change at Grand Hotel De Djokja by prioritising work quality, safety, and reliability of electricity supply so that customers can run their operations optimally. With the additional power capacity, Grand Hotel De Djokja now has a more adequate electricity supply to support all operational activities, from room services, meeting rooms, air conditioning systems, to various other supporting facilities.
