PLN Batam Strengthens Licensing and Investment Governance Through Workshop with BKPM
PT PLN Batam continues to strengthen corporate governance by enhancing human resource capacity in licensing and investment reporting. This initiative was realised through a Workshop on Risk-Based Business Licensing and Procedures for Reporting Investment Activities (LKPM), held in collaboration with the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM.
Through an upload on its official Instagram account, @plnbatam, the company explained that the activity aimed to improve employee competence while strengthening corporate administrative governance.

The workshop represents a strategic step by the company to ensure that licensing data management is more orderly, accurate, and compliant with prevailing regulations. The activity also supports increased employee understanding of the modern licensing system implemented by the government.
PLN Batam explained that the activity was carried out together with the Directorate of Non-Industrial Business Licensing at the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM.
‘In collaboration with the Directorate of Non-Industrial Business Licensing of the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM, this activity discussed licensing management through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system and LKPM reporting in accordance with applicable regulations,’ the statement continued.
Through this workshop, participants gained a deeper understanding of the Risk-Based Business Licensing system, LKPM reporting mechanisms, and various provisions that are an important part of supporting the investment climate and corporate compliance with government regulations.
