PLN, through its West Kalimantan 3 Project Implementation Unit (UPP KLB 3), together with the Land Office (Kantah) of East Kotawaringin Regency (Kotim), is accelerating the certification of land assets for tower sites along the 150 kiloVolt (kV) High Voltage Air Line (SUTT), covering 18 plots.

“Coordination with the East Kotawaringin Land Office is an important step in ensuring the asset certification process runs according to the targets that have been set,” said PLN UPP West Kalimantan 3 Manager Indra Firdaus.

He said the coordination was carried out to ensure the legality of these strategic electricity assets while supporting the smooth development of transmission infrastructure in Central Kalimantan.

During the coordination, the East Kotawaringin Land Office conveyed a target plan for certifying PLN assets in Semester II 2026 of 18 plots. The target consists of 15 plots for the Sampit–Incomer 150 kV SUTT line and three plots for the Sampit–Kuala Pambuang 150 kV SUTT line.

Currently, the asset certification process is ongoing and has entered several stages of land administration completion.

In the coordination, PLN and the East Kotawaringin Land Office also discussed acceleration measures to ensure the Semester II 2026 certification target is achieved.

Both parties agreed to continue strengthening coordination and ensure the certification process runs effectively and sustainably, including supporting the fulfilment of requirements needed in the asset certification process.

“We continue to coordinate with the East Kotawaringin Land Office so that each stage is completed effectively, so that the certification process can support the safeguarding and legal certainty of PLN assets,” said Indra.

Meanwhile, Head of the East Kotawaringin Land Office Mumin Haryanto said the synergy between the East Kotawaringin Land Office and PLN is an important part of supporting the acceleration of the asset certification process.

“It is hoped that the ongoing process can be completed according to target and provide legal certainty over assets owned by PLN,” said Mumin.

The certification acceleration is expected to support the smooth development and operation of the 150 kV SUTT transmission infrastructure in Central Kalimantan, thereby strengthening the reliability of the electricity system and supporting the electricity needs of the community.
