PLN AGM Reappoints Darmawan Prasodjo as President Director

PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero), or PT PLN, has reappointed Darmawan Prasodjo as President Director during the 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS) held at the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Body office in Jakarta on Thursday, 18 June 2026. The decision extends Darmawan’s leadership at PLN since he was first appointed as president director in 2021.

In addition to reinstating Darmawan at the helm, the AGM also approved changes to the board of directors’ composition by adding a Deputy President Director position. The role has been filled by Yusuf Didi Setiarto.

PLN’s Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications and TJSL, Gregorius Adi Arianto, stated that the changes to the board’s composition were made to strengthen corporate governance while ensuring the continuity of PLN’s transformation amidst the evolving challenges of the electricity sector.

“The decision is part of efforts to strengthen corporate governance and ensure the sustainability of PLN’s transformation in facing the increasingly dynamic challenges of the electricity industry,” Gregorius said in a written statement on Friday, 19 June 2026.

According to him, the move is also directed at supporting the achievement of national development targets in the energy sector, including improving the reliability of electricity supply and implementing the energy transition agenda.

PLN expressed its appreciation to the board members who have completed their terms of office. The company assessed that these directors had contributed to driving the company’s transformation, strengthening corporate performance, improving customer service quality, and supporting the national energy transition programme.

The composition of PLN’s Board of Directors resulting from the 2026 AGM is as follows:

• Darmawan Prasodjo as President Director;

• Yusuf Didi Setiarto as Deputy President Director;

• Nurlely Aman as Director of Legal and Human Capital Management;

• Sulistyo Biantoro as Director of Finance;

• Rakhmad Dewanto Haris J. as Director of Corporate Planning and Business Development;

• Suroso Isnandar as Director of Project Management and New Renewable Energy;

• Edwin Nugraha Putra as Director of Technology, Engineering, and Sustainability;

• M. Fahrur Rozy as Director of Retail and Commerce;

• Denny Triyanto as Director of Risk Management;

• Daniel Karmel Fernando Tampubolon as Director of Transmission and System Planning;

• Rizal Calvary Marimbo as Director of Generation Management; and

• Arsyadany G. Akmalaputri as Director of Distribution.
