JAKARTA - The chair of the DPRD DKI Jakarta plenary session, Wibi Andrino, reprimanded council members who left the meeting during the discussion of the Governor of DKI Jakarta’s 2025 Accountability Report at the DPRD DKI Jakarta building on Wednesday (29/4/2026).

This reprimand was issued because the number of attending council members continued to decrease throughout the session.

Wibi assessed that such behaviour showed a lack of respect for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov), which was present in full strength.

“I remind our colleagues to respect our executive counterparts,” Wibi stated.

The number then decreased further, leaving only six people after Commission D delivered its presentation.

This situation was deemed disproportionate, considering that 31 Organisational Units (OPD) from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government attended the session.

Wibi even sarcastically commented on the simultaneous absence of the council members.

“It seems they coordinated their absence,” Wibi said.

He then requested the DPRD Secretariat to immediately remind the members to return to the meeting room and follow the discussion to its conclusion.

Subsequently, some of the members who had left began to re-enter the room, leaving 15 people.

Several strategic issues discussed in the forum included the education sector, waste management, and healthcare services in the capital.
