Please, no naked women
Please, no naked women
From Media Indonesia
A television commercial advertising Krating Daeng shows a man
painting the symbol of this energy drink on the bare back of a
woman sitting on a motorcycle.
Obviously, the producer hopes to boost sales by showing the
bare back of a woman in the TV commercial. In fact, the product
can be advertised without exploiting a woman's body.
This commercial is really a disgrace to women because its
message is that a woman is the symbol of virility that can be
expected to be obtained when this drink is used. Krating Daeng's
producer should have shown greater wisdom in advertising its
product.
Do not exploit a woman's body to advertise a commodity as this
is a violation of human rights. Krating Daeng consumers must
protest against this exploitation of a woman's body.
