Playground at Alit Saputra Field Lacks Lighting, Adat Village to Inspect Soon
Residents have complained about the lack of lighting in the playground area or children’s play area at Alit Saputra Field, Tabanan, Bali, via social media. The facility, located in the Dangin Carik area of Dajan Peken Village, Tabanan Subdistrict, is considered unsafe when used from afternoon to evening hours.
The head of the Tabanan Cultural Park Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD), Ni Ketut Sri Astuti, stated that her side has received input from the community regarding the condition. She assured that the complaint will be followed up promptly in collaboration with the managing party.
“We will coordinate with the Adat Village of Kota Tabanan as we already have cooperation for its management. Thank you also for the input from the community, and we will address it soon,” said Sri Astuti on Wednesday (29/4/2026).
Meanwhile, the Adat Village Head of Kota Tabanan, I Made Suwardika, confirmed that his side has received reports regarding the insufficient lighting in the playground area. “We have been contacted by the UPTD. We will address it soon by checking the site, including determining the number of lighting lamps needed,” he said.
Alit Saputra Field, also known by the community as Dangin Carik Field, is currently under the management of the Adat Village of Kota Tabanan. This transfer of authority is based on a Memorandum of Understanding between the Tabanan Regency Government and the Adat Village of Kota Tabanan, signed on 3 July 2025.
The document, numbered B.040.6.1/1135/TB/Disbud and 065/DAKT/VII/2025, was directly signed by the Regent of Tabanan, I Komang Gede Sanjaya, together with the Adat Village Head of Kota Tabanan, I Made Suwardika.
