Platforms 6-8 at Bogor Station to Close for 90 Days Starting 15 April 2026
BOGOR - Platforms 6, 7, and 8 at Bogor Station will be closed for 90 days, starting Wednesday (15/4/2026), for rail extension work.
KAI Commuter’s VP of Corporate Secretary, Karina Amanda, stated that the closure will necessitate operational adjustments as the affected tracks cannot be used temporarily.
“Commuter Line Bogor users boarding and alighting will only be served at platforms 2-3 and platforms 4-5,” Karina said in her official statement on Tuesday (14/4/2026).
“There will be adjustments to 31 departure and arrival schedules for Commuter Line Bogor trains by 2-3 minutes from the previous timetable,” she added.
Meanwhile, other train schedules will remain unchanged.
To anticipate the impact, KAI Commuter has prepared temporary access in the form of walkways and rail crossings from the west side entrance to the active platforms.
Additionally, entry and exit access at the west hall will be regulated situationally, especially during peak hours.
“Users from the south side of the Station can also use the Bogor Paledang Station footbridge to reach the Commuter Line departure platforms,” she explained.
With this development, platforms 6, 7, and 8 will eventually be able to serve 12-car Commuter Line formations (SF12), up from the previous maximum of 10 cars (SF10).
