BOGOR, KOMPAS.com - Platforms 6, 7, and 8 at Bogor Station are temporarily closed, effective from today, Wednesday (15/4/2026).

This policy is implemented by KAI Commuter as part of the railway infrastructure development project, estimated to last for 90 days.

VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, Karina Amanda, stated that the closure is to support track extension work to serve KRL trains with a 12-car formation (SF12).

“During the work period starting 15 April 2026, Commuter Line Bogor users boarding and alighting will only be served on platform tracks 2-3 and platform tracks 4-5,” said Karina in an official statement on Tuesday (14/4/2026).

To anticipate a surge in passengers, KAI Commuter has prepared temporary walkways and crossings on the west side of Bogor Station, as well as opening access via the Pedestrian Overpass (JPO) from the direction of Bogor Paledang Station.

Nevertheless, the limited platforms are expected to still cause queues and passenger build-ups for KRL services to Jakarta.

In this situation with the closure of platforms 6-8 at Bogor Station, the public can consider alternative public transport modes besides KRL.

  1. Transjabodetabek Bogor–Blok M

Boarding points:

This service is the closest alternative to KRL as it is mass transit and directly connects to Blok M in South Jakarta.

From Blok M, passengers can continue their journey with TransJakarta to various areas in Jakarta.

  1. Bus Jabodetabek Residence Connexion (JRC)
