BOGOR, KOMPAS.com - Tap in and tap out access for electric rail train (KRL) passengers at Bogor Station will be adjusted in connection with the planned project to extend platforms 6, 7, 8, and the railway track lines.

KAI Commuter Public Relations Manager, Leza Arlan, stated that the changes to tap in and tap out access will adapt to the conditions at Bogor Station during the construction work.

“For situational conditions, tap in and tap out access will change to suit the station’s conditions,” said Leza Arlan when contacted by Kompas.com on Sunday (12/4/2026).

“If tap in, tap out, still (no changes yet),” said Mardiono when contacted by Kompas.com on Sunday.

Previously, Bogor Station closed platforms 6 to 8 due to ongoing work to extend the railway track lines.

The closure of those lines will take place from April to July 2026. Subsequently, train operations will only apply to lines 2 to 5.

“There will be work to extend platforms and lines 6, 7, and 8 at Bogor Station. Therefore, those lines must be closed,” said Bogor Station Head, Mardiono, to Kompas.com on Wednesday (8/4/2026).

During the platform and line extension construction, which has the potential for congestion, Mardiono said his team has already anticipated it.

“We are creating a walkway or new access for passengers heading to platforms on lines 2 to 5,” he stated.

He added that the adjustment to the train schedule from Bogor Station will be aligned starting from (13/4/2026).

Users are urged to monitor developments in the train schedule via the official KAI Commuter Line social media pages.
