Planning to Join Takbiran Night at Bundaran HI? Here's the List of Transjakarta Buses and Parking Locations
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is preparing various public transportation options for residents wishing to witness the festivities of “Eid Mubarak Jakarta (Rhythm of the Fountain)”. The event, centred in the Bundaran HI area, is scheduled for Takbiran night or H-1 Eid al-Fitr, from 15:30 to 21:00 WIB.
Deputy Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Ujang Harmawan, explained that the public is strongly encouraged to use public transport to avoid traffic density. “During the event, Transjakarta operations will run normally, adjusted to traffic arrangements and instructions from on-site officers,” Ujang said in Jakarta on Thursday (19/3).
Residents can access the Bundaran HI area using the following services:
Transjakarta Main Corridor & Feeder: Route 1 (Blok M-Kota)
Jakarta MRT: Lebak Bulus – Bundaran HI route.
The event will utilise the northern side of Jalan M H Thamrin as well as the eastern entrance-exit segments of Plaza Indonesia to Jalan MH Thamrin. In this regard, the DKI Transportation Agency will implement situational traffic engineering.
For residents who still bring private vehicles, the Provincial Government has provided four official parking pockets around the event location.
“Eid Mubarak Jakarta (Rhythm of the Fountain)” is part of the Car Free Night activities and the larger series “Jakarta Bedug Kolosal Malam Idul Fitri 1447 H”, with the peak starting at 20:00 WIB. The event will also be enlivened by a parade from the Southwest Gate of Monas to Bundaran HI.
It should be noted that the entire implementation of this event remains dynamic, following the results of the Sidang Isbat held by the Ministry of Religious Affairs tonight to determine the certainty of 1 Syawal 1447 H.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will implement Car Free Night on Jalan MH Thamrin to Jalan Sudirman on Friday (20/3), from 20:00 WIB to 22:00 WIB.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is still awaiting certainty regarding the implementation of Car Free Night planned for Takbiran night.
Flexibility in timing will be maintained according to the dynamics of the isbat results.
The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency will implement car free night in the Sudirman-Thamrin area on New Year’s Eve 2025–2026.
