PKS Supports Gorontalo Governor's Policies for Regional Development

The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) has stated its support for Gorontalo Governor Gusnar Ismail’s policies in implementing development in the region. PKS President Al Muzammil Yusuf, while in Gorontalo on Saturday, called on all PKS cadres in the area to back the local government, both through their roles in the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) and policies that favour the public. “We ask PKS cadres in Gorontalo to continue helping the government in efforts to improve society and to respect the governor as the election winner,” he said. This member of DPR RI Commission XIII assessed that the good relations between PKS and the Democratic Party have also contributed to promoting such synergy. “Criticism and suggestions must be conveyed positively and constructively. The governor is also open to input,” he stated. Muzammil’s presence in Gorontalo was for silaturahmi with the regional leadership council (DPW) PKS executives and cadres, as well as to conduct socialisation of the four pillars of national ideology to the public. During the visit, he also met with Governor Gusnar Ismail, accompanied by several central PKS executives, including Deputy Secretary of BPPW Muhammad Wajdi Rahman, BPPW Ayon Prasetyawan, and DPR RI Commission IV member Riyono. Meanwhile, the PKS Gorontalo attendees included DPW Chairman Adnan Entengo, Cadreisation Chairman Helmy Adam, and Provincial DPRD Faction Secretary Hamzah Idrus.
