PKS Shura Council Assembly Yields Four Strategic Decisions on Global and National Issues

The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) held its third Shura Council Assembly (MMS) on 25-26 July 2026 at the party’s Central Executive Board office in South Jakarta. The assembly, led by Chairman of the Shura Council Mohamad Sohibul Iman, resulted in four strategic decisions addressing global and national dynamics. PKS President Almuzzammil Yusuf stated that the first decision affirms the party’s full support for President Prabowo Subianto in implementing national economic policies that align with the mandate of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution, ensuring justice and welfare for all Indonesians. The second decision urges the government to establish a regulatory and institutional ecosystem to enhance national funding independence by mainstreaming domestic resources based on the Sharia economy, including optimising productive waqf and developing the halal industry. The third decision highlights PKS’s concern over the rise of corruption, LGBTQ+ practices, online gambling, illegal online loans, and drug abuse, calling on all elements of the nation to join hands in eradicating these destructive practices. The fourth decision addresses global humanitarian issues, with PKS urging the government and parliament to be more proactive in fighting for Palestinian independence and stopping all forms of colonisation and genocide by Zionist Israel, in accordance with the constitutional mandate to abolish colonialism.
