PKS Reshuffles DPRD DKI Chair Position, Khoirudin Assigned New Role in Party

JAKARTA – The PKS faction in the DKI Jakarta DPRD has emphasised that there is no internal conflict behind the plan to replace the DKI Jakarta DPRD Chairman from Khoirudin to Suhud Alynudin.

PKS DPRD DKI Jakarta Faction Chairman M. Taufik Zoelkifli stated that the decision to replace him has undergone careful consideration at the central level and is part of organisational renewal.

“There is none (internal conflict). This is purely for consolidation. We are updating for the good of the community as well,” Taufik said when confirmed on Tuesday (21/4/2026).

“He (Khoirudin) will later become the Coordinator for the Development of PKS Public Officials,” Taufik revealed.

He emphasised that all PKS cadres in the regions only carry out decisions from the central leadership. In the party structure, every decision from the DPP serves as a reference that must be followed by cadres at the regional level.

“If we are at the DPW, the principle in PKS is sami’na wa atha’na. So if there is a change, we listen, we obey,” Taufik said.

According to Taufik, the replacement of the DPRD leadership position is part of a series of adjustments within the party, including changes at the central level and the faction in the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

Meanwhile, the process of replacing the DKI Jakarta DPRD Chairman still requires several administrative stages.

“The process will probably take a long time,” he said.
