PKS Central Board Removes Khoirudin, Appoints Suhud Alynudin as Jakarta DPRD Chairman
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – A decree (SK) regarding the replacement of Khoirudin from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) as Chairman of the Jakarta Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD DKI) has been circulating on messaging services. The circulating SK contains a proposal to replace the Chairman of DPRD DKI Jakarta, currently held by Khoirudin.
The SK states that PKS revokes the Central Board Decree (DPP) of PKS Number: 128/SKEP/DPP-PKS/2025 concerning the Leadership and Apparatus of the Jakarta Provincial People’s Representative Council from the Prosperous Justice Party Faction for the 2024-2029 Period, dated 27 October 2025, and declares it invalid.
It proposes the replacement of the Chairman of the Jakarta Provincial DPRD, previously held by Khoirudin, with Suhud Alynudin,” the SK states, as quoted in Jakarta on Tuesday (21/4/2026).
The decision is conveyed to the Jakarta Regional Leadership Board (DPW) of PKS for follow-up. The follow-up is to be carried out in accordance with applicable statutory regulations.
“To the Party Members as stated in the Second Dictum above, they are obliged to comply with all regulations related to the functions, authority, and duties as Chairman of the People’s Representative Council, concurrently as a Council member and Member of the Prosperous Justice Party Faction as the Party’s mandatary in the People’s Representative Council,” the letter states.
The decision is said to take effect from the date of its issuance until the end of the Jakarta DPRD term for the 2024-2029 period. If any errors are found later, corrections will be made.
Republika attempted to contact Abdul Aziz, Secretary of PKS Jakarta. However, he claimed not to know about the SK for replacing the DPRD DKI Chairman. “I haven’t seen the letter,” he said when confirmed by Republika.
Additionally, Republika tried to confirm the information with Suhud, who is also the Secretary of Commission C of DPRD DKI. However, the Chairman of DPW PKS Jakarta declined to provide comments.
