PKP, Tapera and young Papua figure train Papuan youth to become property entrepreneurs
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) is collaborating with the People’s Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) and young Papua figure Billy Mambrasar to train more than 100 indigenous Papuan youths to become property entrepreneurs.
Young Papua figure and member of the Executive Committee for the Acceleration of Special Autonomy Development in Papua, Billy Mambrasar, has praised the property entrepreneurship training for indigenous Papuan youths.
“Thank you to President Prabowo for the opportunity provided, and we will strive to realise the aspirations and vision of the father,” said Billy Mambrasar in his statement in Jakarta on Monday.
President Prabowo’s commitment to expanding access to decent housing while promoting economic independence for Papuan communities has been reaffirmed through this strategic collaboration between the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP), BP Tapera, and young Papua figure Billy Mambrasar.
Opened directly by the Governor of Southwest Papua Province, Elisa Kambu, the training features key speakers Maruarar Sirait, as PKP Minister, and Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, as Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Centre.
The event was attended by hundreds of participants from various backgrounds, all sharing the same enthusiasm to become property entrepreneurs, improve their family’s economic status, and build a better future for Papuan society.
This programme is part of the implementation of President Prabowo Subianto’s commitment to build and repair at least 21,000 houses across Papua, involving local business actors to ensure welfare improvements that are the responsibility of the Ministry of PKP.
