The Chair of the Family Welfare and Empowerment Movement (TP PKK), Tri Tito Karnavian, is encouraging students to increase their awareness of health from an early age. This is to be achieved through the adoption of a healthy lifestyle, understanding reproductive health, and utilising the Free Health Check-up Programme (CKG). According to her, health awareness is an important provision for the younger generation to achieve a better future.

The message was conveyed by Tri when opening a Socialisation event on Tuberculosis (TBC), Adolescent Reproductive Health, and Free Health Check-ups for Students at the Biinmafo Hall field, North Central Timor Regency (TTU), East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). In her speech, Tri emphasised that health is the main asset that must be maintained by everyone, including students. She noted that the importance of health is often only realised when a person falls ill.

"No matter how much money one has, no matter how rich a person is, if they are not healthy, it is useless," she said. She therefore reminded people of the importance of regular health checks as an early detection measure against various disease risks. Through the CKG Programme, the public can monitor their health conditions free of charge. "All humans have been sick at some point. So, this is our action to prevent us from being quickly attacked by disease. One of them is to carry out free health checks," she said.

Tri also highlighted the importance of education regarding the prevention of TBC, HIV/AIDS, and adolescent reproductive health. She believes that a good understanding from school age will help the younger generation maintain their health while avoiding various risks that could affect their future. She also asked the students to convey information about the CKG Programme to their families and surrounding environment so that more people can utilise the service. "Please make use of it. Do not waste it. Because if you want a truly paid health check, it is expensive. So, take advantage of this health check for your families," she advised.

During the series of activities organised by the Central TP PKK Working Group IV for Family and Environmental Health, sashes were presented to several selected students as TBC and Reproductive Health Ambassadors as a form of support for health education efforts among students. Additionally, medical equipment assistance was handed over to support the implementation of the CKG Programme.
