Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Satuan Tugas Penertiban Kawasan Hutan (PKH Task Force) has handed over funds amounting to Rp11.4 trillion, derived from enforcement actions including administrative fines and state financial recoveries, to the state treasury. The amount of Rp11,420,104,815,858 was symbolically presented by Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, as Deputy Chair I of the PKH Task Force’s Steering Committee, to Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, in the presence of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the Attorney General’s Office building in Jakarta on Friday. In his report, the Attorney General stated that the trillions in funds represent the results of collecting administrative fines in the forestry sector by the PKH Task Force, amounting to Rp7,230,036,440,742. Additionally, there are non-tax state revenues (PNBP) from state financial recoveries related to corruption cases handled by the Republic of Indonesia Prosecutor’s Office from January to March 2026, totalling Rp1,967,867,845,912. Furthermore, tax receipts from January to April 2026 amounting to Rp967,779,890,000. Next, state revenues from tax deposits by PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara amounting to Rp180,574,134,443. Finally, PNBP from environmental fines amounting to Rp1,145,847,307,471. The leader of the Adhyaksa Corps further noted that since the establishment of the PKH Task Force in February 2025 until now, it has successfully recovered state asset finances reaching Rp371,100,411,143,235. He also emphasised the importance of strong law enforcement against forest mafias. According to him, weak law enforcement would cause the state to lose money, lose assets, lose credibility, and lose the ability to prosper the people. “Conversely, strong, intelligent, and targeted law enforcement will improve governance, recover state losses, create a healthy business climate, and have a real impact on the national economy,” he added.
