PKH Task Force Hands Over Rp10 Trillion in Administrative Fines to the State
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Satuan Tugas Penertiban Kawasan Hutan (PKH Task Force) handed over funds amounting to Rp10 trillion from administrative fines to the state treasury. The handover was conducted symbolically by Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, as Deputy Chair I of the PKH Task Force Director, to Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, witnessed directly by President Prabowo Subianto at the Attorney General’s Office building in Jakarta on Wednesday. In his presentation, the Attorney General stated that the handover of the total amount of Rp10,270,051,886,464.00 represents a manifestation of transparency and accountability in the task force’s performance to the public. He detailed that the total funds originate from the collection of administrative fines in the forestry sector and by the PKH Task Force amounting to Rp3,423,742,672,359, as well as tax revenues from follow-up actions by the PKH Task Force amounting to Rp6,846,309,214,105. Furthermore, the leader of the Adhyaksa Corps stated that the handover on Wednesday serves as evidence of the PKH Task Force’s commitment to upholding forest sovereignty while addressing the leakage of state wealth derived from Indonesia’s natural resources. “This pile of money in front of us is not merely part of a ceremonial event, but rather tangible proof of the PKH Task Force’s performance that has been present to protect national interests through collaborative law enforcement,” he said. In addition, he expressed appreciation to all members of the PKH Task Force for their dedication, hard work, and commitment demonstrated in safeguarding forest sovereignty and saving Indonesia’s natural wealth from various forms of misuse and leakage that harm the state. “The achievements attained represent a tangible manifestation of the state’s presence in enforcing the law and ensuring that the management of natural resources is carried out in an orderly, fair, and pro-national interest manner,” he stated.
