PKH Task Force Deposits Rp 10 Trillion Fine to State Treasury
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Forest Area Regulation Task Force (Satgas PKH) has handed over funds amounting to Rp 10 trillion from administrative fines to the state treasury. The handover was conducted symbolically by Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, as Deputy Chair I of the Satgas PKH Steering Committee, to Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa. The ceremony was witnessed by President Prabowo Subianto at the Attorney General’s Office building in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (13/5/2026). In his remarks, the Attorney General stated that the handover of the total amount of Rp 10.270.051.886.464 represents a manifestation of the task force’s transparency and accountability in its performance to the public. He detailed that the total funds originate from the collection of administrative fines in the forestry sector and Satgas PKH amounting to Rp 3.423.742.672.359, as well as tax revenues from follow-up actions by Satgas PKH amounting to Rp 6.846.309.214.105. Burhanuddin explained that this handover is evidence of Satgas PKH’s commitment to enforcing forest sovereignty. The step also addresses leakages in state wealth derived from Indonesia’s natural resources. “This pile of money in front of us is not merely part of a ceremonial event, but tangible proof of Satgas PKH’s performance that has been present to protect national interests through collaborative law enforcement,” he said.
