PKH July 2026 Disbursement: Schedule, Amounts, and How to Check Eligibility
The Family Hope Programme (PKH) is likely to be disbursed again by the government in July 2026, marking the third distribution phase of the year. Based on the Minister of Social Affairs Regulation Number 1 of 2018 concerning the Family Hope Programme, PKH is provided to poor and vulnerable families registered in the Ministry of Social Affairs’ data. The programme’s objectives include improving recipients’ living standards, reducing expenditure burdens, and alleviating poverty. The government has established several recipient criteria, broadly reviewed from health, education, and social welfare aspects, with each criterion receiving a different nominal amount.
July is the first month for the third distribution phase of 2026. The detailed monthly phases are: Phase 1: January-March; Phase 2: April-June; Phase 3: July-September; and Phase 4: October-December. It should be noted that the government does not set a specific date for PKH distribution, as dates may vary between regions due to geographical conditions and technical factors. Referring to the official website of the Sarolangun Regency Government, in 2025, PKH and BPNT disbursements were mostly carried out at the beginning of the month, but the process continued until the second half of July. A similar pattern may apply this year. PKH assistance is distributed by the Ministry of Social Affairs through partner banks to the accounts of Beneficiary Families (KPM), as well as through PT Pos Indonesia.
The amounts for PKH July 2026 per criterion are as follows: Pregnant women: Rp 250,000 per month or Rp 750,000 per three months; Children aged 0-6 years: Rp 250,000 per month or Rp 750,000 per three months; Elementary school students: Rp 75,000 per month or Rp 225,000 per three months; Junior high school students: Rp 125,000 per month or Rp 375,000 per three months; Senior high school students: Rp 166,666 per month or Rp 500,000 per three months; Persons with severe disabilities: Rp 200,000 per month or Rp 600,000 per three months; Elderly aged 60 years and above: Rp 200,000 per month or Rp 600,000 per three months; Victims of gross human rights violations: Rp 900,000 per month or Rp 2,700,000 per three months.
Since early 2025, the Ministry of Social Affairs has used the National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN) replacing the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) as the reference for social assistance distribution, specifically the desil grouping within DTSEN. Desil is a method of grouping society based on economic welfare levels, with desil 1 being the poorest group. In practice, people in desil 1-4 are prioritised to receive social assistance, including PKH. To check your desil grouping, you can use the Ministry of Social Affairs’ website or the Cek Bansos application. Via the website, prepare your 16-digit National Identity Number (NIK) from your Identity Card (KTP), open the Cek Bansos Kemensos page at cekbansos.kemensos.go.id, enter your NIK, fill in the captcha code, and click ‘Cari Data’. The results will display your name, desil, and the status of three types of social assistance. Via the application, download the Cek Bansos Kemensos app from the Play Store or App Store, click the ‘Cek Bansos’ menu, enter your NIK, and press ‘Cari Data’ to view your name, desil group, and a list of social assistance with their status and periods. If you feel your desil is incorrect, you can apply for a change through the application or by visiting the village, kelurahan, or local social services office. The change process typically takes about three months.
